Since my last update, I have gotten a lot done for my project and everything finally seems like it is coming together! This past Saturday, I went to a craft show in Harrisburg with my friend and her aunt to sell my bracelets I made. It was called the 2025 Harrisburg Holiday Craft and Vendor Fair hosted at the Dauphin County Technical School. My friend Chloe's Aunt Karen sold her knitted hats at the station while Chloe and I got a little corner of her stand to put our bracelets on. We ended up selling a good amount of bracelets for $5.00 each and made a lot of money. We still need to total up everything and split it between the two of us but, I will keep you guys updated when I find out how much I can donate to my charity, Alex's Lemonade Stand in hopes of finding a cure for pediatric cancer.
As much as I would love to go to another craft show, I am not sure the timing is going to work out to do it before my 20% project ends. But, just in case, over winter break I plan to make more bracelets for the next craft show I attend, even if it is after the project is over. For now, I am very happy with how everything is going and I think my first craft show was an overall success. I can't wait to put down my donation with the profit I earned and watch everything come together.
